| Our church was founded on October 6, 1966 by Marvin "Bus" Melton. Marvin "Bus" Melton - deceased July 23, 1987 Rev. Paul DeBord became the second Pastor. He served God from November, 1987 until his death December 22, 1997. Pastor Bret Edwards became the third Pastor August, 1998 to November 23, 2003. Pastor Kevin Norvell became our fourth Pastor, January, 2005. He preached several messages during 2004 and was voted in on December 19th. He is our first Bi-Vocational Pastor. If you are looking for spiritual guidance and a home church, then your search is over. Our church is based the Kings James Version of the Bible. We believe that God does not change, therefore, we believe that His word should stand. We believe in an altar and encourage people to use it. Most of all, we believe in freedom to worship God and praise His name. We do not believe in modernistic methods of worship. We love music that glorifies God and have a choir that sings it. Also, we are blessed with many talented singers. |
